ABOUT
The Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County, Inc. (ELC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is responsible for overseeing and funding early learning programs using federal, state, and local funding sources.

PROBLEM
In February 2023, the ELC obtained additional marketing dollars from the state to raise community awareness about its programs, but it lacked the expertise or capacity to run digital or traditional marketing campaigns.
SOLUTION
With a marketing budget of $14,000, our agency developed a multi-channel digital and grassroots marketing plan to help increase appointment requests, phone calls, and emails to their office for the summer.

Identify & Fill-in Marketing Gaps
Meeting with the client, we discussed what their current marketing plan was to identify what high-performing tactics our media buys could amplify and areas of opportunity they haven't been able to explore. With that audit and analyzing feedback from an audience awareness survey, adding Meta Ads and Google Ads into their marketing plan filled in a large gap of their brand awareness goals.

Obtain Free Ad Spend With Google Ads
Since the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County had never run Meta Ads or Google Ads before, ad accounts had to be created. While building their Google Ads profile, I was able to sign their organization up for the Google Ads Grants program, where they received up to $10,000 a month in ad credit to run ads on the Google Ads platform.

Localize Print & Digital Ad Buys
After analyzing the results from our audience awareness survey of the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County's current clientele, areas of Osceola County where children five and under were underperforming in their literacy skills were identified along with the most spoken languages. With 80% of the clientele marking that Spanish was their first language, we included Spanish translations to all of our print and digital media buys.

Collaborate With Community Partners
In addition to digital ads, my marketing manager and I teamed up to call restaurants in are target areas to see if they would accept ELC-branded coloring sheets with crayons to help spread awareness of their programs. We also worked with local businesses and cities' parks departments to host community chalk events. After collecting various gift cards from participating businesses, we advertised the events with giveaways to incentivize guardians to come out.
