ABOUT
The Silver Spurs Club is a 501(c)(5) nonprofit based in Kissimmee, Florida. For over 80 years, their organization has hosted annual rodeo events to raise donations for various nonprofits across Central Florida.
PROBLEM
The Silver Spurs Club needed help increasing attendance to their new Thursday performance while celebrating their organization's 80th anniversary.
SOLUTION
With the help of our internal creative team, we created a new, annual campaign that celebrated the Silver Spurs Club's anniversary. Utilizing a budget of $60,000, we rolled out this new campaign look through paid digital and traditional media, as well as, the Silver Spurs Rodeo's organic social media channels to delight loyal fans and attract new guests.




2025 FLAGLER AWARD RECIPIENT -
INTEGRATED MARKETING CAMPAIGN - BRONZE
The Flagler Awards recognize outstanding tourism marketing in Florida. The awards are open to all individuals or organizations offering a product or service that promotes tourism to or within the state of Florida. Based on the success of this campaign, I submitted the artwork, style guide and results from the year-long campaign to be considered. On August 27, 2025, the campaign was awarded the Bronze Flagler Award in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category.

Showcase The History Of The Club
Working with our agency's graphic designer and videographer, we wanted this campaign to showcase the history of the Silver Spurs Rodeo with a mix of vintage and present-day photos of athletes, the community and fans. Additionally, we decided to incorporate an oak wood texture overlay in some of our designs as oak is the symbolic material for 80th anniversaries.

Create Thursday-Performance Specific Strategy
For this campaign, I worked with our graphic designer to create a suite of social media graphics that were published across Silver Spurs Rodeo's owned channels. To boost visibility, I ran targeted Thursday-performance ads on Meta Ads, Nextdoor Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads and Google Ads. Additionally, I collaborated with the Osceola County School District, where I shared digital posters and graphics that their team could distribute to students and families. We also teamed up with Dr. Shanoff, Superintendent of the school district, on co-branded videos that helped drive engagement across both owned and school district channels. To extend the reach even further, I worked with the client and team at Valencia College to extend the free admission to Osceola County students to college students, strengthening student outreach and community connection.

Launch New Mobile Digital Billboard Trucks
For the first time this February, we partnered with DatMediaFL to execute two targeted campaigns on mobile billboard trucks. The first campaign launched on February 10 and ran through February 14, promoting Monster Bulls and the Silver Spurs Rodeo in markets outside of Osceola County (Lakeland, Melbourne, Orlando) to attract day-trip visitors. The second campaign focused on Student Night and the Silver Spurs Rodeo, targeting areas near Osceola County schools during pick-up times, and achieved 352,303 impressions.
